Who are Pexwear?
Pexwear started life in Liverpool in 1816 under the name John Peck & Co. For more than 150 years, the brand supplied hardwearing workwear from its factory on Edge Lane to tradesmen across every industry you can think of: butchers, engineers, chefs, stewards. If it needed to last and it needed to work, chances are Pexwear made it.
The brand went quiet in the 1970s, but was brought back to life in late 2025 by Cathal McAteer (founder of Folk) and Liverpool-born designer Domingo Rodriguez. Rather than treating it as a straight reproduction, they've taken original archive patterns and reworked them with modern cuts and fabrics. The DNA is the same, the fit is updated.
