Ragazzi is now an official Saucony stockist, and the first drop has already landed. We're carrying styles from Saucony's lifestyle collection, including the ProGrid Omni 9 (which has nearly sold out already), the ProGrid Guide 7 in three colourways, and the Shadow 5000. More styles are on the way, and we're working to secure more Omni 9 stock due to demand.

Who are Saucony?

Saucony has been around since 1898. Founded in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the brand started out making running shoes and built its reputation on performance footwear through the 20th century. Four of its most recognisable silhouettes came out of the 1980s alone, starting with the Jazz in 1981 and followed by the Shadow series from 1985 onwards.

What's changed in recent years is Saucony's lifestyle range. The brand has re-released some of its best archive runners as everyday trainers, keeping the original design DNA but updating the comfort and materials for modern wear. It's this side of Saucony that fits the Ragazzi edit: heritage silhouettes with genuine running pedigree, built for wearing rather than running in.

ProGrid Omni 9: The One Everyone Currently Wants

Saucony Progrid Omni 9

The ProGrid Omni 9 originally launched in 2010 as a stability running shoe and quickly built a following for its chunky, technical look. The re-released lifestyle version keeps the rubberised cage overlays and Grid cushioning that made the original popular, but it's designed for all-day comfort rather than mileage.

It's the trainer that's been turning up across social media and in streetwear circles over the past year, and there's a reason the first Ragazzi drop nearly sold out immediately. As we write this, there is very limited stock remaining, priced at £150. We're doing our best to secure more stock, so if your size has gone, keep an eye on our socials and newsletter for restock updates.

Saucony ProGrid Guide 7: The Everyday Pick

Saucony Progrid Guide 7

The Guide 7 is a classic from the early 2000s, when Saucony was pushing the boundaries of colour and customisation in running footwear. The lifestyle re-release keeps the breathable mesh upper, synthetic overlays and ProGrid cushioning from the original, giving it a layered, technical look that works well with relaxed tailoring and casual fits.

We've got it in three colourways so far, with a lower profile than the Omni 9 that makes it a bit more versatile for everyday rotation. If you want the retro running aesthetic without the bulk, this is the one.

Saucony Shadow 5000: The Heritage Classic

Saucony Shadow 5000

The Shadow 5000 is arguably the Saucony silhouette. First released in 1989 as part of the Shadow series that started with the Shadow Original in 1985, it was built as a serious distance running shoe with an EVA midsole and suede and mesh upper. The design sits right at the crossover between late-80s and early-90s running aesthetics, which is exactly why it's aged so well as a lifestyle trainer.

It's the entry point into Saucony's range if you're after something understated. The proportions are clean, the colourways tend to be tonal, and the quality of the suede on the reissued versions is a step above what you'd expect at the price point.

What's coming next

This is the first Saucony drop at Ragazzi, not the last. We're expecting more styles and colourways to land through the season, and we're actively working to restock the ProGrid Omni 9 given how quickly it moved.

The best way to stay ahead of new drops is to follow us on Instagram, TikTok or sign up for the Ragazzi newsletter. We'll announce restocks and new arrivals there first.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ragazzi an official Saucony stockist?

Yes. Ragazzi is an authorised Saucony retailer. Every pair we sell is sourced directly from the brand.

Do Saucony trainers fit true to size?

Generally yes. The Shadow 5000 and ProGrid Guide 7 run true to size for most people. The ProGrid Omni 9 fits true to size as well, though if you have wider feet you may want to try a half size up.

Will you be getting more ProGrid Omni 9 stock?

We're working on it. The first drop sold quickly and we're in talks with Saucony to secure more. Follow us on social media or sign up for the newsletter to be first to know when new stock lands.

What other Saucony styles will Ragazzi stock?

More styles and colourways are expected through the season. We'll announce everything on our social channels and via email.

Does Ragazzi offer free delivery on Saucony trainers?

Free delivery on all UK mainland orders over £150 (full-price items).
